Yandex Music
// 2025 Unpacked
Yandex Music 2025 Unpacked — is the main music event in Russia: for users, musicians, and Yandex’s business as well. Every year thousands of people open their YM Year Unpacked in the app as a gift, but fewer and fewer people share it. Why?

Our research showed that the Year Unpacked has become so precise that it reveals things about users that not everyone feels comfortable sharing with everyone else.
 
In the TVC, we used a song from the 90s that unexpectedly went viral this year and brought five celebrities — real and virtual — to sing it for one Yandex Music listener in his YM 2025 Unpacked.



 This year we proposed to rethink the cards
and allow users to choose for themselves what they want to share. (we are proud that the client trusted us enough to even allow changes to the product)
